Objective: To assess the feasibility of a definitive cluster randomized crossover trial to determine the effect of lateral patient positioning versus supine positioning with fracture table use for reamed antegrade intramedullary fixation of femur fractures.

Funding Received: Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Hamilton Academic Health Sciences Organization (HAHSO), Canadian Orthopaedic Trauma Society (COTS)

Anatomical Location: Midshaft femur fractures appropriate for antegrade fixation.
